Vermicomposting Workshop

We all know the great benefits worm casting has in our lawn and gardens. In this workshop you will learn how to create your very own worm farm for an endless supply. In this hands-on workshop, Mike and Traci Wyatt, co-owners of Central Iowa Organic Fertilizer, will be instructing us how to raise baby worms from Hatch, which is the worm cocoons that contain the worm eggs. You will have the opportunity to get your hands dirty and will help prepare this Hatch for optimal results while Mike and Traci provide information on the care and feeding of your new worm friends. Then you can take them home and watch as the baby worms hatch and grow in your own compost or garden!
